Nicole Fine

~ Photographer - Owner - Creative Genius ~

This would be the part where I talk about how 'I have loved photography ever since I was able to hold a camera', or say 'I was always that person at the party taking photos'.  .  .  Yeah, that's not this gal.

Truth be told, without trying to sound completely arrogant, I've just always had a knack for photography. It was one of the few things in my life that came naturally to me and as I got older, I realized how much I really enjoyed being behind the lens.

I could bore with the details of how I fell into the art of Boudoir, but it's not very exciting. Typical story line, 'I want to be a photographer', and it just so happens that my niche is photographing beautiful half-naked, or in some cases fully naked women.

But sarcasm aside, I truly LOVE what I do. I LOVE capturing the moments when women feel truly beautiful, confident and unabashedly in love with themselves! It’s awesome to see that switch flip when they remember they're more than just a mom, just a teacher, just a waitress, just whatever. I love creating that safe space for women to feel good, let their insecurities go, and WANT to be in front of the camera. I love the art I get to create, I love my squad, and I love being able to call my passion my career.

Favorite Quote: "Never put off until tomorrow what you can do the day after tomorrow."

Go-to karaoke song:

Put on any musical or Disney number and I am THERE.

Four words that describe me: Creative, smart ass, does Jew count? ... I also think of myself as funny. Oh and caring! (In case Jew doesn't count).

Must-have desert island movies:

Tombstone (my hangover movie, I am assuming Rum will be provided on this island.) umm... Dazed and Confused, great soundtrack. And, Inception, the cast ... am I right ladies?!

Favorite body parts: My legs and butt.

Least favorite body part: My neck, I hate my neck. It looks like a dinosaur neck.

Fun fact: I had a Superhero themed wedding and walked down the aisle to Number of the Beast by Iron Maiden.

Guilty pleasures:

Spending Saturday night at home in a good pair of sweatpants, snuggling with my cats (if they are feeling generous) and binge-watching Ghost Adventures.

Super Hero or Super Villain, why?

Villain. It's always more fun to play the villain. Watch all the other girls pick heroes and make me look like a dick. lol

Place you want to travel to:

The world. Literally spin a globe, place a finger down... and go. Then once I'm there go on all the ghost tours 🙂

I hate writing these things… it always feels like an online dating profile or cover letter to a resume`.

My background is in Fine Art, painting is my passion. I also love crafting, decorating, all things artsy and my cat Turkey-don’t ask!

I have this unique ability to be creative one minute and then solve a complicated math problem the next, which is why I am the Number 2 (but let's be real, for those who know us, the Number 1) at NFP.  Diving into this crazy business adventure, with your best friend, sort of Thelma and Louise style, definitely has its moments of 'what the heck did I get myself into'. But watching how Nicole and her squad impact every-day-women on the level that they do.... it's all worth it. Truly.

I guess you could say I'm sort of the Alfred of the group, or maybe Robin? ... I'm the Bad-ass side-kick who runs pretty much everything behind the scenes (the business), and sometimes a little in front (did I mention I love all things artsy). In reality, someone has to speak 'Nicole' and keep her creative - artist mind in check; I’ve been trying to do this for the entirety of our 15-year friendship!

But seriously, I have watched Nicole grow into such an amazing woman and photographer. She and the Mavens are a ball of energy that you can't help but want to get to know and be apart of. The MOB squad are the best group of ladies ever! (I’m really just here to hang with them.)

Favorite Quote: "The most important thing in life is your family. There are days you love them, and others you don’t. But, in the end, they’re the people you always come home to. Sometimes it’s the family you’re born into and sometimes it’s the one you make for yourself." Carrie Bradshaw

Go-to karaoke song: Salt N Pepa: Shoop

Four words that describe me: Sarcastic, Creative, Insightful, Pragmatic

Must-have desert island movies:

Um, would I watch them?!

Favorite body parts: Hair, face

Least favorite body part: Tied for arms/belly

Fun fact: I have the uncanny ability to reach into a rack of clothes and pull out the exact size I was looking for.

Guilty pleasures:

Super Hero or Super Villain, why?

Hero, because only Nicole would choose Villain.
